Part of the brief for this project was to provide simple indoor-outdoor flow for the youngsters attending this Childcare Centre, and with windows as a priority, we were asked to create the impression of unrestricted, open space, in which children could relax and enjoy their time. The normally warm and sunny location can also be frosty and chilly in winter, so the double-glazed glass infills help to regulate the temperature within, and the automated push-button operation makes the doors very simple and quick to use. Not only are these doors reliable and efficient, they met and exceeded the expectations of the brief and they look outstanding in the aesthetic patio-style setting.
